Life Update: Snow

This past week has been really snowy.
I am not a huge fan of the cold so I am not excited about the snow because I would be able to go sledding, skiing, etc. For me I only like the snow because I think snow is so beautiful!!
The best kind of snow is the kind where the snow flakes are huge, soft and fluffy. I just love standing outside and looking up close at the snow flakes so that you can actually see them the way people draw them.
On Tuesday it snowed a lot so we were let out of school early and I decided that I would use my time, instead of doing home work and being productive, by taking some photos. So...Here they are.

Oh yeah, I also made some delicious hot chocolate.

Favorites: November

It is now the beginning of December, and I thought that I would share what my favorite items/products/things are this time of year.

#1. Fleece lined leggings.

I got these leggings as a gift. They were originally meant for my mom but she gave them to me, and I fell completely IN LOVE with them. They are cute and comfortable, and they keep my legs totally warm.
(sorry these look grey instead of black)
*Gold Medal Fleece Lined Leggings (not sold in many stores. search online)

#2. L.L.Bean Boots

A lot of people have these boots and for a really long time I just admired them from afar. Then I finally got a pair for myself and they are one of my favorite shoes EVER! They look cute with a variety of outfits and I can just throw them on with almost anything I want and they make some of he simplest looks, more stylish.
*L.L. Bean (in store/online)

#3. Hair Fudge

I got my hair cut a while ago, and my hair stylist suggested this product to me to keep my curls stronger and intact for longer. I absolutely love this product! I haven't been able to find a good enough product for my curls till now, and the Fudge literally does miracles to my hair. I use it when my hair is wet but it is usually used on dry hair, although I find it makes my hair very sticky and feeling kinda gross that way.
*pz Cusson Beauty Fudge Hair Shaper Original

#4. Fuzzy Socks

I LOVE FUZZY SOCKS!! These are my new obsession. I can't really wear them to school in the middle of the week but any time I am at home or just in a more comfortable setting I slip these super fuzzy socks on and they keep my feet so toasty warm. Also my feet get very dry easily, so these socks let my feet air out a bit while still keeping them from getting to cold and cracked. The best part though is that they come in so many fun crazy patterns and colors which is just so amazing.
*Fuzzy Socks (no real name. can be found anywhere)

#5. Almay Wake Up Undereye Concealer

I just recently began wearing this concealer daily, and I think it is so amazing. It doesn't dry up under the eyes, it lasts almost the whole day, and the color and product smooth into my skin so well. It gets rid of my terrible dark circles completely. along with the under eye concealer I use a Sonia Kashuk Blending Sponge which is really great. It smooths the concealer into the skin perfectly and leaves no unevenness.

Helpful Tips: Updating for Winter

The weather is changing outside, so you know what that means... its time to get dressed for the cold!! I personally love cold weather clothing because you get to wear lots of layers and scarves, tights and warm socks, and of course boots.

Sometimes it is hard to make the transition from wearing summer clothing to trying to find outfits that will keep you warm, and are still cute. Thats why I am going to give you some simple tips on how to make your outfits warmer!

I love wearing skirts and dresses, but my legs get cold really easily. So, of course, tights are a really great option. I love almost any kind, but I especially love unique tights. I always try to wear something out of the ordinary while still being trendy, so if i was going to wear a standard dress or skirt I might wear interesting tights in different colors or patterns...but don't go to crazy. They are also great for making your summery shorts more appropriate for winter.

One thing that always seems to be an issue for me is keeping my face from getting cold. I always find my nose or my ears just get freezing! That is why I love scarves. I could never really pull off scarves until I discovered the infinity scarf. For some reason it is the only type of scarf that really looks good on me. Throughout the day, when I go outside I always wear (along with my awesome coat (which I love)) a plain, grey, Calvin Klein infinity scarf that I got from T.J.Maxx. But sometimes, just to make a slightly boring outfit have more personality, I wear a fancier, more interesting scarf.

Layers are really useful. I wear cardigans and sweaters almost everyday. You can through a cardigan over anything, and then add a jacket or a coat along with it. I love the style of cardigan that is really trending, and those are the long bulky cable knit cardigans that look really slouchy. I don't happen to own one, but I do have a lot of really long cardigans, which work with both jeans and skirts. The great thing about cardigans is that you can wear them over any type of top. Whether its a tank top, or a T, or even a cropped top (which I own a lot of).

I hope those tips gave you a better idea about what to wear this season. If it did feel free to comment and tell me what your planning on wearing or what tip helped you the most.

Look Book: Topshop Haul

It is now the time in autumn when it is starting to get really cold. Everyday in the mornings I walk to the bus stop, so I really needed a hat (and while I'm at it, a warm sweater too).

Recently I have been watching a lot of British youtubers on youtube.
Mainly Zoella: http://www.youtube.com/user/zoella280390.

She got me completely obsessed with TOPSHOP. Now I have never actually owned anything from TOPSHOP before so it was kind of ridiculous.
So, finally, I went online and decided (with some convincing of my mom) to get a super cute cable knit pompom hat and a pink cable knit sweater.

I was so excited to get the package in the mail but it took much longer than I thought it would.

When the package came I was literally freaking out, so I took some photos for you all to see my excitement!!

Do you like TOPSHOP?

Look Book: Jump(er) into Fall

Every Friday at school, the dress code is different than usual. Everyone is supposed to dress fancier. This means that boys can't wear tee shirts or jeans, and have to wear collard shirts and nice pants. For girls it is basically the same thing just their skirts can't be too short and... you get the point.

Anyways, at the end of the summer I went to Urban Outfitters and bought a super cute jumper. I couldn't wait to wear it, and I figured that I could totally wear it on Friday to dress up.
This is how I wore it:

  Ta Da!!

Jumper: Urban Outfitter
Sweater: Target

Shoes: El Naturalista

Earring: Urban Outfitters
Necklace: Urban Outfitters
(Yeah...I have a little bit of an obsession)

I hope you enjoyed this outfit as much as I did, and I hope this may have helped you with any ideas for your own outfits!

How would you wear a jumper?
