Sixteen Once: About

Me.

Hello Friends. My name is Nina and I started this blog during the fall of October 2013. I decided to start blogging because I really wanted to share my passions and my hobbies with other people through the most effective way possible... the internet. Also, documenting certain events with writing and photography can be very therapeutic for both readers and I. The blog started slow, beginning with only a few of my close friends infrequently reading my blog (not even my family), but it has really spiraled into something much bigger and I am really excited to see where it leads me.

Now a little more about me... I am sixteen years old, I live in the center of town in Boston. The weather in the winter is usually pretty cold and the summer can get pretty hot, that is why my favorite time of the year is Fall, and not just because of the autumn colored scarves and light jackets. I live with my family, my parents and three siblings (one is off at college), and I am the second child.

I spend most of my time in school doing normal high school things. such as being swamped with papers and tests and dealing with typical high school drama.

When I'm not doing work, I have many hobbies I try to keep up. Some include singing and listening to music. Over the years I have played different instruments, but most recently I am playing the acoustic guitar. I have been singing since I was about 8 and have been doing it ever since. I am now singing in a Jazz band in school, and a band out of school at the Brookline Music School.

I also love photography, and have taken multiple classes through freshman and sophomore year, plus many more this year and next. I started off with learning black and white photography, but wasn't very good at it. So, I took a digital photography class and since then I continue taking photos and am progressing in my abilities.

Finally, I am very interested in fashion (surprise, surprise). I have gone through many different phases and am always updating my style. What stays constant is my willingness to take risks with what I wear and to try new things. I never leave the house without having thought through my ootd.
